Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh through her charity-“Tonto Dikeh Foundation’’- is set to hold a valentine show “Share Love, Not Rape’’ for an orphanage home on Feb.14.
In a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday, Dikeh said that the event was to raise public awareness for vulnerable children, especially the girl child.
“It is a platform for raising awareness, educating the general public and creating avenues for improving the perception of the girl child in Nigeria.
“This is especially important with the spate of infant rape and sexual abuse within the nation,’’ she said.

Dikeh explained that her foundation catered for abused women in the society and those saddled with unwanted pregnancies as a result of molestation and rape as well as motherless children.
“This is a special package and we are passionate about it.
“I have teamed up with hospitals, clinics, different charity organisations, churches, mosques, well-meaning personalities in the society and government, and I believe together we can save souls,’’ she said.

The River State-born actress added that the event which would hold at the Ijamido Children Home, Ota in Ogun State, was co-sponsored by Big Church Groups Limited and her Foundation.
