Justin Bieber is BOOED as he scolds crowd for talking at his Manchester concert

On the other foot: As Justin Bieber continued his UK leg of his Purpose world tour, the tables were turned as he found himself under fire after scolding the crowd for talking during his set

Earlier this week, bieber told his fans they were 'obnoxious' after they screamed throughout the entirety of his Birmingham gig.

During his Thursday night performance at Manchester Arena, the 22-year-old singer  told fans: 'I thought I could have a moment to say something, but if you guys want I can cut the bulls***!'

'I’m trying to engage, but if you guys don’t want to, I’ll play the music.'

The outburst came near the end of the show after Bieber tried to tell the audience why this is his Purpose tour - 'saying ‘everyone in here has a purpose in life.'
He also asked for fans to 'stay as quiet as possible' while he sang two ballads earlier in the show, but the screams came thick and fast as he performed Cold Water and the Love Yourself on an acoustic guitar.

Surly and not sorry? Justin Bieber appeared to balk at his fans' zealous devotion on Monday, as he implored his devotees to refrain from drowning him out at a gig in Birmingham

A fan told the Birmingham Mail: 'I really felt as though Justin was disrespectful to his fans.
'Not so much us, more so the young girls who queued for a long time to be at the front.
'We recorded the fans screaming because we didn't think we'd heard anything quite as loud at a concert before... and what we ended up recording, to our surprise, was Bieber complaining because his fans were 'like two feet away', and they just 'needed to find another way to express themselves!'"
Let the man speak: Pausing during his performance, the first of two in the city, the Sorry singer addressed his fans - asking them to let him speak and sing without them drowning him out
