According to WBRZ, A 40-year-old woman told investigators that she tried to kill her son because Jesus told her to do so.
The culprit, Gloria Ross, cut her 8-year-old child's throat with a kitchen knife, leaving a 2.5 inch gash.She has been taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for attempted murder and
cruelty to a juvenile Thursday morning.
